Open space, rope/cones/something to mark the start and finish line.

Instructions

1. Find an open space outside.

2. Set up a Start and Finish line.

3. Tell children that this is a walking race, but the one who wins is the one with the craziest walk not the fastest.

Teacher Notes

For an extended activity, allow children to take turns deciding who had the craziest walk.

You might also introduce ‘themes’ to provide children with inspiration (e.g. animals, emotions, etc).
