MINDLESS WALKING VS MINDFUL WALKING

MOVE MINDFULLY AND DEVELOP SPACIAL AWARENESS.


Instructions

  1. Have children walk around mindlessly, bumping into each other (within reason!).

  2. Then, have children walk around quickly without bumping into each other.

  3. Discuss the difference and explain that during the second exercise, they were practising mindfulness by being more aware of what was happening around them in the present moment.
