We are looking to recruit 4 new Trustees with experience in one or more of the following: fundraising, strategy development, digital transformation, change management, sector expertise, finance and EDI.

We are looking for individuals who bring diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds, and who are ready to embrace the challenge of contributing to a dynamic and energetic children’s charity. We welcome applications from those new to Trusteeship.

Having recently celebrated our milestone 10th Anniversary, we are looking to the next stage of development of our charity, and planning for our long-term future.

As a Trustee, you will play a crucial role in steering our organisation towards greater impact and innovation and supporting us to achieve our vision and mission.

This is a unique opportunity to use your expertise to make a lasting difference in children's lives, to enhance your leadership and governance skills and to be part of a passionate, purpose-driven and forward-thinking team.


TIME COMMITMENT.

Trustees are expected to attend two to three meetings per year and allocate time to read the necessary papers. Meetings generally last around two hours and are held virtually. 

Outside of Board meetings, the charity’s team may seek to consult with Trustees individually on particular subjects (on occasion via email or phone/video), and there will be opportunities to attend project visits and events related to the charity’s work.

Trustees are appointed for an initial three-year term with the possibility of subsequent terms (maximum of three terms of three years). 


REMUNERATION.

The role is voluntary and unpaid, however reasonable travel expenses, directly incurred in the role as Trustee, will be reimbursed.
